About
I am a photographer based between Bristol and West Wales, having just completed my studies at UWE, Bristol. With a distinct interest in our connection to nature and the land, in particular within folklore and religion, I challenge Arcadian ideals to explore the darker undertones of a landscape. My work often draws from local historical references, using sociological knowledge and research to translate into my images to shed light on otherwise perhaps disregarded areas of society. By revisiting forgotten stories and harking back to their environment, my images hint to a previous age.
