Margaret Jones was a mother and wife of a miner who's occupation in the 1911 census was listed as 'gwaith teulu' (family work).

David Lloyd was a farmer, husband and father.

Hannah Jones was one of the village dressmakers.

James Isaac was a weaver using wool from the sheep of local farmers like David Lloyd. He died at just 24.
